The 34th is a book (and series of books in the works) that follows the stories of the 34th and other heroes fighting in the near future, where aliens and humans alike roam the galaxy and worlds burn in flames.
The 34th, the first book, follows the exploits of Matthew 'Darkmane' Renmark, and his squads in the 34th as they try and protect the Lord-Marshall Lee Hartman, the leader of the Empire's military forces. Other characters include Dominic Renmark, a fleet captain and Darkmane's brother, and Ashley Sparks, a pilot trapped with the 34th and Hartman.
